Vellore has steadily evolved into an important education, healthcare, and industrial hub, supported by improving infrastructure and regional connectivity. The city’s inclusion under the Government of India’s Smart Cities Mission further underlines its long-term urban and economic potential.
Commenting on the signing, Suma Venkatesh, Executive Vice President – Real Estate & Development, IHCL, noted that Vellore’s growing prominence as an institutional and industrial centre makes it a strong fit for the Vivanta brand. She highlighted that the project aligns with IHCL’s strategy of expanding into cities with rising business and leisure demand.

The project is being developed in partnership with BBK Group. Narayansamy Baskaran of BBK Group expressed confidence that the introduction of Vivanta will enhance Vellore’s hospitality landscape and create a new landmark destination for travellers visiting the region.
