Sterling Avante Mohali opens in the Chandigarh Tricity corridor

Sterling Holiday Resorts has launched Sterling Avante Mohali, marking a strategic expansion in North India with a hotel designed for corporate travel, conferences, and celebration-led stays. Located in TDI City, Sector 117, the property strengthens Sterling’s footprint in Punjab’s fast-growing Chandigarh Tricity region.

A hotel built for business and celebrations

Positioned in one of North India’s most commercially active corridors, Sterling Avante Mohali caters to weekday business travel and weekend social gatherings with equal focus. The hotel features contemporary rooms and suites, dependable service standards, and infrastructure that supports both productive corporate stays and large-scale social events.

Dining-led guest experience

Dining plays a central role at the hotel. Essence, the all-day dining restaurant, offers a flexible setting suited to business meals, hosted dinners, and celebratory occasions. The menu combines Indian favourites, regional flavours, and global staples, aligning with the hotel’s all-occasion positioning.

Meetings and events infrastructure

Events and conferences are anchored by the Crystal Banquet Hall, a versatile venue designed to seamlessly transition between corporate conferences, product launches, weddings, and social functions. The facility is supported by Sterling’s experienced operations and culinary teams, ensuring consistent delivery across event formats.

Leadership perspective

Commenting on the launch, Vikram Lalvani, Managing Director & CEO, Sterling Holiday Resorts, highlighted Mohali’s emergence as a commercially vibrant, well-connected city with rising relevance for business travel and large celebrations. He noted that the property aligns with Sterling’s strategy of growing in destinations with year-round demand and strong operating fundamentals.

Maninder Singh Marwah, Director, Shining Star Hospitality, added that Mohali’s role as an extension of the Chandigarh Tricity’s business and events ecosystem required a partner with proven operational depth. He emphasised that Sterling’s nationwide network and balanced leisure–business understanding made it the right fit for the market.

Portfolio strategy and market impact

With Sterling Avante Mohali, Sterling Holiday Resorts continues to build a diversified portfolio spanning leisure resorts, spiritual destinations, and business-forward hotels. The launch reinforces the brand’s focus on strong locations, scalable event infrastructure, and hospitality experiences centred around food, gatherings, and reliable service delivery.
