Sarovar Hotels has expanded its North India presence with the launch of Golden Tulip Kukas Jaipur and Skywings Sarovar Portico Mathura. The new properties strengthen the group’s footprint in leisure, spiritual, wedding, and MICE-driven markets across Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh.
Sarovar Hotels has announced the opening of two new properties—Golden Tulip Kukas Jaipur and Skywings Sarovar Portico Mathura—further strengthening its presence across North India. The dual launch aligns with the group’s strategy of expanding in culturally significant, leisure-driven, and high-demand destinations supported by weddings, spiritual tourism, and MICE activity.
Strengthening presence in high-growth markets
With these additions, Sarovar Hotels deepens its footprint in Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh, two states witnessing sustained demand from leisure travellers, pilgrims, destination weddings, and corporate events. The expansion reflects the group’s focus on scalable growth across diversified travel segments.
Sarovar Hotels now operates over 150 hotels across 87 destinations in India, Nepal, and Africa, underlining its steady growth and multi-brand portfolio strategy.
Golden Tulip Kukas Jaipur
Located in Kukas, an emerging hospitality corridor on the outskirts of Jaipur, Golden Tulip Kukas Jaipur is a 90-key hotel set against the scenic Aravalli hills. The property features an all-day dining restaurant, spa, swimming pool, fitness centre, and banquet facilities for up to 600 guests. Its proximity to Amber Fort and nearby industrial hubs positions it well for destination weddings, leisure stays, and corporate events.
Skywings Sarovar Portico Mathura
Skywings Sarovar Portico Mathura marks Sarovar’s strategic entry into one of India’s most prominent spiritual destinations. The 70-key hotel offers an all-day dining restaurant, fitness centre, and banqueting space for up to 400 guests. Centrally located with easy access to major temples and transport links, the property caters to spiritual travellers, social functions, and regional business demand.
Leadership perspective
Commenting on the expansion, Ajay K. Bakaya, Chairman, Sarovar Hotels & Director, Louvre Hotels India, said the launches in Jaipur and Mathura reaffirm the group’s commitment to culturally rich destinations with sustainable growth drivers, while continuing to deliver hospitality experiences aligned with evolving market needs.
