Radisson Hotel Group Signs Four Park Inn & Suites Hotels Across Emerging Cities in India

Radisson Hotel Group has announced the signing of four new Park Inn & Suites by Radisson hotels in Roorkee, Meerut, Asansol and Navi Mumbai (Airoli), strengthening its midscale presence in emerging markets across India.

The developments are part of the group’s strategy to expand into high-growth cities with rising business activity, education hubs and industrial clusters, where demand for internationally branded hospitality continues to increase.

Expanding the Midscale Portfolio in Growth Corridors

The new signings reinforce Radisson Hotel Group’s strategy of entering underserved markets with strong demand fundamentals but limited branded hotel supply.

Park Inn & Suites by Radisson has been positioned as the group’s India-focused midscale brand, designed for rapidly expanding cities where travel demand spans business, leisure and large social gatherings.

According to Nikhil Sharma, India’s travel growth is increasingly driven by emerging urban centres that combine educational institutions, industrial ecosystems and expanding corporate activity.

Park Inn & Suites by Radisson, Roorkee

The Park Inn & Suites by Radisson, Roorkee in Uttarakhand is scheduled to open in Q2 2027.

Located on NH-344, the hotel will serve travellers visiting Roorkee’s academic institutions and industrial areas, including the renowned IIT Roorkee.

The property will feature multiple dining options, a rooftop specialty restaurant, and indoor and outdoor event venues designed for corporate gatherings, weddings and social celebrations.

Park Inn & Suites by Radisson, Meerut

The Park Inn & Suites by Radisson, Meerut is expected to open in Q1 2029 along National Highway-58, a key corridor connecting western Uttar Pradesh to the National Capital Region.

Meerut has witnessed sustained growth across manufacturing, handicrafts and defence-related industries, creating demand for branded hotels.

The property will include modern guest rooms, dining outlets, meeting facilities and an outdoor lawn, catering to business travellers, weddings and leisure guests.

Park Inn & Suites by Radisson, Asansol

The Park Inn & Suites by Radisson, Asansol in West Bengal is planned to open in Q1 2029 on the Delhi–Kolkata Highway.

The 75-key hotel will offer contemporary rooms, an all-day dining restaurant, rooftop bar, meeting facilities, fitness centre and swimming pool.

Asansol’s strong industrial base—supported by coal mining, steel production and companies such as Eastern Coalfields Limited—continues to generate demand for business travel and social events.

Park Inn & Suites by Radisson, Navi Mumbai – Airoli

The fourth project, Park Inn & Suites by Radisson, Navi Mumbai (Airoli), is scheduled to open in Q3 2028 near Digha railway station on Airoli Road.

Airoli has emerged as a major corporate hub within the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, attracting multinational companies and Grade-A office developments.

The hotel will feature all-day dining, a bar and meeting facilities, targeting corporate travellers, MICE events and short-stay business guests.

Strategy Behind the Expansion

According to Davashish Srivastava, the selected cities represent distinct demand profiles but share strong growth fundamentals and limited branded hospitality supply.

The four signings align with Radisson Hotel Group’s broader strategy to expand across metro, tier-two and tier-three markets through a diverse portfolio of brands ranging from midscale to luxury.

Strengthening Radisson’s Presence in India

Radisson Hotel Group currently has over 200 hotels operational or under development in India, making it one of the country’s largest international hotel operators.

The latest signings reinforce the company’s focus on early entry into emerging cities, allowing the brand to capture long-term growth opportunities while supporting the evolution of India’s regional hospitality markets.
