Radisson Hotel Group expands Rajasthan footprint with new Kishangarh signing
Radisson Hotel Group has announced the signing of Radisson Hotel Kishangarh, strengthening its footprint in Rajasthan and marking the company’s 20th property in the state.
The upcoming full-service hotel is expected to open in Q2 2027 and will further support the group’s strategy of expanding in high-potential tier-2 destinations across India.
Strategic location near Kishangarh Airport
The new hotel will be strategically located near Kishangarh Airport and along the Delhi–Ajmer corridor, offering convenient connectivity to major cities including Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Surat, Indore, and Nagpur.
Kishangarh, widely recognised as the “City of Marbles,” plays a significant role in India’s marble industry while also benefiting from steady tourism demand. Its proximity to Ajmer and Pushkar makes it a gateway for pilgrimage and leisure travellers visiting these important destinations.
The location is also expected to attract airline crews, transit guests, corporate travellers, and visitors attending regional social and religious events.
150 rooms and full-service hospitality offering
Radisson Hotel Kishangarh will feature 150 well-appointed rooms and suites, along with multiple dining options and modern meeting and event facilities.
The property is being designed to cater to a diverse mix of guests, including corporate travellers, wedding celebrations, social events, and MICE gatherings. The hotel will combine contemporary hospitality standards with local cultural influences inspired by Kishangarh’s artistic heritage and historical identity.
Radisson targets early-mover advantage in emerging market
According to Nikhil Sharma, Kishangarh represents a high-potential hospitality market supported by a mix of commercial travel, pilgrimage tourism, and improving regional connectivity.
He highlighted that despite growing demand from the marble and manufacturing industries, the destination still has limited branded hospitality supply. Establishing a Radisson property in the city will help the group secure an early-mover advantage while strengthening its leadership position in Rajasthan.
Strengthening development strategy in tier-2 destinations
Davashish Srivastava noted that the signing reflects the company’s focus on expanding into underpenetrated markets with strong long-term fundamentals.
Kishangarh’s strategic location between Ajmer and Pushkar, improved air connectivity, and consistent demand from trade and tourism make it a compelling destination for Radisson’s growth strategy.
Partnership with local developers
The hotel project is being developed in partnership with Cygnus Township LLP.
Rajendra Gupta stated that collaborating with Radisson Hotel Group will help bring global hospitality standards to Kishangarh while supporting the city’s expanding tourism and commercial ecosystem.
Strengthening Radisson’s India growth pipeline
Radisson Hotel Group currently has more than 200 hotels in operation and development across India, with a significant share located in tier-2 and tier-3 cities.
The signing of Radisson Hotel Kishangarh reflects the company’s continued focus on expanding into emerging destinations where infrastructure development, commercial activity, and tourism demand are creating new opportunities for organised hospitality.
