Olive Hospitality Scales to 100 Hotels, Enters Next Phase as a Multi-Brand Hospitality Platform
Olive Hospitality, the hospitality arm of Embassy Group, has crossed the 100-hotel milestone across India and formally transitioned from Olive by Embassy to a multi-brand hospitality platform.
Industry milestone reflects asset-light growth, segment clarity, and pan-India expansion
Olive Hospitality, the hospitality arm of Embassy Group, has achieved a major growth milestone by crossing 100 hotels across India. Alongside this achievement, the company has officially rebranded from Olive by Embassy to Olive Hospitality, signalling its transformation from a single-brand operator into a structured, multi-brand hospitality platform.
The transition reflects Olive’s long-term strategy of building an institutional, scalable, and technology-enabled hospitality ecosystem tailored to India’s diverse accommodation demand.
From Single Brand to Platform-Led Growth
Olive Hospitality was founded with the belief that India’s accommodation market required greater institutionalisation, consistency, and operational discipline. Over time, shifting travel behaviour, growing domestic tourism, and demand across business, leisure, pilgrimage, and extended-stay segments shaped its evolution.
Rather than expanding through a uniform operating model, Olive focused on creating segment-specific brands, allowing flexibility across markets while maintaining centralised systems, design standards, and revenue management.
Segment-Led Brand Architecture
Olive Hospitality’s portfolio is structured to address clearly defined traveller segments
-
Olive Hotel – contemporary hotels designed for business and leisure travellers
-
Spark by Hilton – a premium economy offering developed in partnership with Hilton
-
Open Hotels – value-driven, flexible accommodations across metro and emerging destinations
This brand-led approach enables faster scalability while preserving relevance across price points and locations.
Pan-India Presence and Key Metrics
As of February 2026, Olive Hospitality has
-
4,472 keys signed
-
2,178 keys operational
-
Presence across 20 cities in 10 states
Its expanding footprint includes destinations across Karnataka, Goa, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Himachal Pradesh, covering both urban centres and high-potential leisure and pilgrimage markets.
Operational Reset and Asset-Light Focus
A key inflection point in Olive Hospitality’s journey came during the Covid-19 period, when the company reinforced its asset-light operating model, streamlined processes, and accelerated digital adoption.
This phase strengthened what Olive describes as a “high-tech, high-touch” philosophy—combining centralised technology, revenue systems, and design standardisation with locally agile operations and market responsiveness.
Leadership Perspective
Commenting on the milestone,Kahraman Yigit, Co-founder and CEO, Olive Hospitality, said
“Reaching 100 hotels validates our belief that hospitality in India must be both institutional and intuitive. As Olive Hospitality, we are building an integrated ecosystem that brings together multiple brands, shared capabilities, and deep traveller insight. This structure allows us to scale with discipline while staying agile across markets and formats.”
Looking Ahead
With a clear brand architecture, growing national footprint, and unified operating platform, Olive Hospitality is now positioned for its next phase of expansion—focused on disciplined growth, brand clarity, and long-term value creation across India’s evolving hospitality landscape.
