Narwar Lakefront Resort in Shivpuri, Madhya Pradesh, has expanded its accommodation portfolio with the addition of 21 new lakefront cottages and rooms. This expansion doubles the resort’s capacity to 41 keys, reinforcing its positioning as a destination-led hospitality retreat in Central India, focused on nature, heritage, and experiential stays.
Expansion strengthens destination-led hospitality
With the new inventory, the resort is now better equipped to host destination weddings, wellness retreats, corporate offsites, and extended leisure stays. The increased room count allows the property to welcome larger groups while maintaining its intimate, personalised guest experience.

Room design and guest experience
The newly added rooms feature warm wooden flooring, ambient lighting, and contemporary furnishings designed to blend seamlessly with the surrounding landscape. Each room includes a king-size bed, seating area, work desk, curated in-room amenities, and private balcony sit-outs overlooking greenery, landscaped pathways, or lake views—creating a calm and premium stay environment.
Location advantage and experiential appeal
Located on the Sindh River near the Madikheda Dam and close to Madhav Tiger Reserve, the resort caters to the growing demand for nature-driven luxury experiences in Madhya Pradesh. The expanded capacity supports curated celebrations, wellness-led programming, wildlife experiences, and heritage exploration while preserving the property’s tranquil character.
Amenities and resort infrastructure
Spread across seven acres, Narwar Lakefront Resort offers lake-view and pet-friendly cottages, multiple dining venues including Boat Club Café, Windmill Café, and Sapor restaurant, along with a swimming pool, fitness centre, and a dedicated children’s play area. The expansion is also expected to contribute to local employment and strengthen the regional tourism ecosystem through increased visitor activity and vendor engagement.
