Strengthening the North India Commercial Team

Akhil Tanwar has taken charge as Deputy General Manager – Sales & Marketing at the North Regional Office in Delhi. With more than two decades of experience in hospitality sales, Tanwar brings deep expertise in corporate accounts, destination marketing, and strategic partnerships. Over the years, he has worked with several established hotel brands, gaining exposure across business hotels, convention-led destinations, and premium hospitality segments. Before joining MAYFAIR, he held a senior sales leadership role at the Novotel Jaipur Convention Centre and the Jaipur Exhibition & Convention Centre.

Key Achievements

Also joining the North India leadership team is Ashwani Kumar, appointed Deputy General Manager – Sales & Marketing. Kumar brings 17 years of professional experience spanning hotels, large-scale events, and integrated sales platforms. His career began in the food and beverage events segment at a leading luxury hotel in New Delhi, after which he transitioned into sales-driven roles with hospitality and event-focused organisations. Prior to this appointment, he was associated with a prominent luxury hotel group in Delhi, where he played a key role in strengthening sales operations.

West Region Leadership Based in Mumbai

For the West Region, Madhuri Nilesh Dixit has been appointed Deputy General Manager – Sales & Marketing, operating from Mumbai. With over 16 years of experience, Dixit has built a strong reputation in sales strategy, business development, and brand visibility across resort and luxury hotel environments. Her career includes leadership roles at premium leisure and destination-led properties in Goa, Shillim, Lonavala, and Jaipur. She is known for driving market penetration and cultivating long-standing trade and corporate relationships.
