Strengthens presence in Uttarakhand’s nature-led leisure travel market

Mahindra Holidays & Resorts India Limited (MHRIL) has expanded its leisure hospitality portfolio with the launch of Club Mahindra Nadiya Parao Resort in Jim Corbett, marking its second property in the destination. The new addition reinforces the company’s strategic focus on high-demand, nature-centric leisure markets in India.

Resort Overview and Infrastructure

Career Background

Spread across approximately 10 acres, the newly launched 57-room resort has been designed to offer a balanced mix of leisure accommodation and event-led infrastructure. The property features expansive landscaped lawns, a dedicated banquet hall, and riverfront access, enabling it to cater to a wide range of guest requirements while enhancing the overall experiential appeal.

Catering to Multiple Demand Segments

Key Achievements

The resort’s layout and facilities position it to serve family holidays, destination weddings, and corporate off-sites—allowing the asset to address multiple demand segments within a single destination. This diversified approach supports sustained occupancy across seasons and strengthens the resort’s commercial viability.

Alignment with Long-Term Expansion Strategy

Current Role & Responsibilities

The launch aligns with MHRIL’s ongoing expansion roadmap, which includes a near-term target of adding 1,000 rooms by FY26. Over the longer term, the company aims to scale to 10,000 keys under the Club Mahindra brand and 12,000 keys overall by FY30, supported by disciplined capital allocation and portfolio premiumisation.

Leadership Perspective

Commenting on the development, Manoj Bhat, Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer, Mahindra Holidays & Resorts India Limited, said the company remains focused on building India’s leading leisure hospitality platform with families at its core. He highlighted that the Jim Corbett expansion reflects strong destination demand and the brand’s emphasis on delivering superior guest experiences while preparing for long-term growth.
