IHG Hotels & Resorts and United Hospitality Management Sign Garner Bhiwadi to Strengthen Midscale Presence in India

IHG Hotels & Resorts has strengthened its midscale expansion strategy in India with the signing of Garner Bhiwadi, in partnership with United Hospitality Management (UHM). Scheduled to open in 2027, the project marks another step in IHG’s focused growth across emerging industrial and business corridors.

Project Details and Development Plan

Garner Bhiwadi will be a 45-key midscale hotel, developed by Modest Structures Private Limited and managed by United Hospitality Management – India. Designed to cater to both short and extended stays, the property will offer modern guestrooms and efficient amenities aimed at delivering consistent quality at an accessible price point.

This signing represents the fourth Garner-branded hotel in India, reinforcing the brand’s conversion-led growth approach in the country.

Strategic Expansion for United Hospitality Management

The Bhiwadi signing follows UHM’s official entry into the Indian market in Q4 2025, following the acquisition of the boutique hospitality brand Rosastays. That acquisition added 17 operational properties across leisure destinations including Goa, Kasauli, Nainital, Pushkar, and Shimla, significantly strengthening UHM’s domestic footprint.

Leadership Perspective

Deepika Arora, Managing Director – United Hospitality Management, India, said the addition of Garner Bhiwadi aligns with the company’s long-term objective of building a diversified and future-ready portfolio. She highlighted the importance of combining global brand systems with local market understanding to deliver sustainable owner returns and consistent guest experiences, particularly in fast-growing industrial clusters.

Garner Brand: Midscale Conversion with Global Systems

Garner is IHG’s newest midscale conversion brand, set to serve value-conscious travellers seeking comfort, flexibility, and reliability without the complexity of full-service hotels. Backed by IHG’s global enterprise systems and loyalty ecosystem, the brand offers a relaxed, locally relevant stay experience while maintaining international operating standards.

With Garner Bhiwadi, IHG and United Hospitality Management continue to align global brand strength with local execution, supporting India’s growing demand for professionally managed midscale hotels in high-potential markets. The project further reflects investor confidence in conversion-led growth and disciplined portfolio expansion across India.
