Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) has strengthened its presence in North India with the signing of a new Gateway-branded resort in Kasauli, Himachal Pradesh. The greenfield development underscores IHCL’s continued focus on expanding its leisure portfolio across high-potential hill destinations.

IHCL has announced the signing of a 96-key resort under its Gateway brand in the scenic hill town of Kasauli. Designed as a greenfield project, the upcoming resort will offer panoramic views of the surrounding Shivalik hills and cater to the growing demand for premium leisure experiences in North India.

The development is being undertaken in partnership with Vasuki Hospitality Private Limited, marking its entry into the hospitality sector.

Project Highlights and Facilities

The Gateway Kasauli resort is planned with a strong focus on guest experience and versatility. The property will feature 96 well-appointed rooms and a curated mix of dining venues, including an all-day dining restaurant, a specialty outlet, and a bar.

Guests will have access to a range of leisure and wellness amenities such as a heated swimming pool, fitness centre, and a spa. Additionally, the resort will include banqueting and event spaces spanning over 4,000 sq ft., positioning it as a preferred destination for weddings, social gatherings, and corporate retreats.

Suma Venkatesh, Executive Vice President – Real Estate and Development, IHCL, highlighted the strategic importance of the destination, noting that Kasauli’s tranquil environment and proximity to major urban centres make it a sought-after getaway in North India.
