Hyatt Regency Dehradun Resort & Spa has announced the elevation of Karan Singh Nagra to the role of Director of Marketing and Communications, marking a key leadership move as the resort strengthens its brand presence across leisure, weddings, and MICE segments in North India.

Nagra steps into the expanded role after successfully serving as Marketing and Communications Manager at the resort, where he played a pivotal role in shaping its marketing strategy, digital visibility, and communications framework.


Expanded Mandate Across Brand, Digital, and Public Relations

In his new position, Nagra will oversee the resort’s complete marketing and communications portfolio. His responsibilities include leading integrated marketing campaigns, strengthening brand positioning, driving performance-led digital marketing initiatives, and managing public relations, media outreach, and influencer collaborations.

A key focus of his mandate is to further establish Hyatt Regency Dehradun Resort & Spa as a leading destination resort for leisure travellers, destination weddings, and large-format meetings and events.


Driving Visibility, Engagement, and Market Connect

Since joining the property, Nagra has been instrumental in enhancing the resort’s digital footprint through targeted campaigns, structured social media strategies, and brand partnerships. His efforts have contributed to improved market visibility and stronger engagement with travellers, wedding planners, and corporate decision-makers.

With over nine years of marketing experience, his expertise spans luxury brand marketing, destination marketing, media planning, public relations, content creation, and social media strategy.


A Proven Marketing Leader in Hospitality and Beyond

Prior to joining Hyatt Regency Dehradun Resort & Spa, Nagra held senior marketing roles across hospitality, media, and retail. His previous assignments include Senior Marketing and Communications Manager at JW Marriott Hotel Kolkata, Head of Marketing and Activations at 91.9 Friends FM (ABP Group), and Assistant Manager – Marketing at Spencer’s Retail (RPSG Group).

He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from J.D. Birla Institute, Kolkata, and an MBA in Marketing from Praxis Business School, Kolkata.
