HAI and The Lalit Suri Hospitality School Launch Skills Programme to Strengthen Industry Talent

Introduction

The Hotel Association of India and The Lalit Suri Hospitality School have entered into a strategic partnership to enhance workforce readiness in the hospitality sector through a focused skills development programme.

MoU Formalised to Advance Skill Development

The two organisations signed a Memorandum of Understanding at the Faridabad campus of The Lalit Suri Hospitality School on April 22, 2026. The collaboration reflects a structured approach to bridging capability gaps in hospitality education, aligning industry expectations with academic delivery.

The agreement was formalised in the presence of Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, underlining its relevance to national tourism and employment priorities.

Introduction of ‘Image & Life Skills Lab’

As part of the partnership, the institutions introduced the ‘Image & Life Skills Lab’, a 10-day programme designed to build professional presence and communication capabilities.

The curriculum focuses on interpersonal skills, grooming, and workplace communication—areas increasingly critical in a service-driven hospitality environment. The initiative aims to prepare participants for real-world industry interactions and guest engagement.

Non-Commercial Collaboration Model

The programme will operate on a non-commercial basis, emphasising sector-wide development rather than financial exchange. Under the arrangement, HAI will lead industry outreach and integration, while The Lalit Suri Hospitality School will oversee programme delivery through its academic infrastructure and faculty.
