Grand Hyatt Kochi Bolgatty has announced the appointment of Vikash Kumar as Assistant Director of Food & Beverage, reinforcing its focus on operational excellence across dining venues, banquets, and large-scale events.

In his new role, Kumar will oversee food and beverage operations, banquet performance, and service delivery. His responsibilities include ensuring operational consistency, maintaining quality standards, and enhancing guest experiences across restaurants, events, and convention spaces.

A Decade of Experience in Food & Beverage Leadership

Vikash Kumar brings more than ten years of experience in food and beverage service, banquet operations, and event management. He began his hospitality career in 2014 with Hyderabad Marriott Hotel & Convention Center and Courtyard by Marriott, where he developed strong foundations in service execution and guest engagement.

Over the years, he progressed through multiple leadership roles, managing high-volume food and beverage operations and complex event requirements in premium hospitality environments.

Proven Expertise Within Global Hotel Brands

Kumar joined the Hyatt portfolio in September 2022 as Events Planning Manager at Grand Hyatt Kochi Bolgatty, where he played a key role in strengthening banquet operations and executing large-format events. He later moved to Sheraton Grand Bengaluru Whitefield Hotel & Convention Center as Banquet Manager and was promoted to Assistant Food & Beverage Manager in March 2025.

His return to Grand Hyatt Kochi Bolgatty reflects the hotel’s commitment to internal talent development and leadership continuity.

As Assistant Director of Food & Beverage, Kumar will support the hotel’s strategic goals by driving service consistency, strengthening banquet performance, and leading teams across diverse dining formats.
