Le Méridien Navi Mumbai has announced the appointment of Firoz Sarwar as Director of Sales, reinforcing its commercial leadership as the hotel builds its presence in one of India’s fastest-growing urban markets.

In his new role, Sarwar will lead the hotel’s sales strategy and business development initiatives, with a focus on driving revenue growth, strengthening market positioning, and expanding the hotel’s footprint across key corporate, leisure, and social segments.


A Career Spanning Leading Global Hospitality Brands

Firoz Sarwar brings over 18 years of experience in hospitality sales, business development, and revenue leadership. Over the course of his career, he has worked with several globally recognised hotel groups including Marriott International, Accor, and The Leela Palaces, Hotels & Resorts.

Academically, Sarwar holds an MBA in Marketing and a Bachelor of Engineering in Information Technology, enabling him to combine analytical thinking with strong market insight and relationship-driven sales leadership.


Key Milestones in Hospitality Sales Leadership

Sarwar began his hospitality journey with The Leela Goa, now known as The St. Regis Goa. A defining chapter of his career followed with the pre-opening and launch of Sofitel Mumbai BKC, Accor’s first luxury hotel in India, where he contributed to its successful market entry and positioning.


Recent Experience Driving Premium and Social Segments

Prior to joining Le Méridien Navi Mumbai, Sarwar served as Associate Director of Sales at Le Méridien Mahabaleshwar Resort & Spa. In this role, he led multi-city sales teams across Mumbai, Pune, and Mahabaleshwar, with a strong focus on weddings and social events, contributing to revenue growth and enhanced market visibility.
