Expansion Strengthens Fern’s North India Portfolio

The Fern Hotels & Resorts has announced the signing of The Fern Residency Vrindavan, Series by Marriott, marking another step in the brand’s expansion across North India. The upcoming property will be located in Vrindavan, Uttar Pradesh, one of India’s most prominent spiritual tourism destinations.

With this addition, the hospitality group’s portfolio in North India will grow to 22 operational and upcoming properties, reinforcing its focus on expanding into high-demand pilgrimage and leisure travel markets.

A 100-Room Hotel Designed for Pilgrimage and Leisure Travel

The Fern Residency Vrindavan will feature 100 well-appointed rooms and suites, designed to accommodate both leisure travellers and visitors arriving for religious tourism. The hotel aims to offer a contemporary stay experience while maintaining the brand’s commitment to sustainability and guest comfort.

The property will include an all-day dining restaurant serving multiple cuisines, along with a specialty restaurant offering curated dining experiences for guests.

Event Spaces and Wellness Facilities Planned

In addition to accommodation and dining, the upcoming hotel will incorporate conference rooms and banquet halls, allowing it to host corporate meetings, weddings and social events. These facilities will position the property as a versatile venue for both business and celebratory gatherings.

Guests will also have access to wellness amenities including an in-house gym, enhancing the overall guest experience and providing convenience for long-stay and leisure travellers.

Strategic Partnership with Appletree Builders

The project is being developed in partnership with Appletree Builders & Developers Pvt. Ltd., bringing a branded hospitality offering to the rapidly growing tourism hub of Vrindavan.

Commenting on the signing, Suhail Kannampilly, Managing Director of The Fern Hotels & Resorts, highlighted the importance of the destination, stating that Vrindavan continues to attract increasing numbers of domestic and international travellers.
