DoubleTree by Hilton Bengaluru Airport has announced the appointment of Sanu Sadanandan as its new General Manager, bringing over two decades of leadership experience in hotel operations and hospitality management to Hilton’s largest DoubleTree property in India.

In his new role, Sadanandan will oversee the overall strategy and operations of the hotel. His responsibilities include operational excellence, guest experience enhancement, revenue growth, sales and marketing leadership, and building a high-performance team culture. The appointment comes at a time when the property continues to strengthen its position as a key airport-centric hotel catering to business and transit travelers.

With its strategic proximity to Kempegowda International Airport, the hotel serves a diverse mix of domestic and international guests. Under Sadanandan’s leadership, the focus will be on seamless service delivery, operational efficiency, and improving occupancy and revenue performance. The hotel is also expected to expand food and beverage offerings while supporting sustainable hospitality practices aligned with Hilton’s global standards.

Extensive Experience Across Leading Hospitality Brands

Sadanandan is a seasoned hospitality professional with deep expertise in hotel operations, revenue optimization, business development, and team management. Prior to joining DoubleTree by Hilton Bengaluru Airport, he served as Head of MICE Sales at ITC Hotels, Gurugram, and earlier held the position of General Manager at Renaissance Hotel Lucknow. His professional journey also includes serving as Director of Operations at Le Méridien Gurugramand holding several senior leadership roles within Marriott International.
