The newly appointed leaders bring decades of combined global experience and are expected to support the brand’s ambition of scaling its operations across India.

Rahul Rana Takes Charge of Culinary Leadership

The company has named Rahul Rana as Director – Culinary, entrusting him with the responsibility of enhancing menu creation, food innovation and culinary standards across the Cygnett portfolio. Chef Rana’s professional background spans over 22 years, including assignments in Europe, the Caribbean, the Maldives, Southeast Asia, East Africa and India.

A graduate with an Advanced Diploma in Hospitality, Tourism and Culinary Studies from Switzerland, he has worked with several global hospitality groups and has been involved in conceptualising multiple speciality restaurants. His strengths include modern cooking techniques, global flavour palettes and the execution of large-format buffet layouts.

Cygnett has also appointed Sanjit Kumar Thakur as Corporate Learning & Development Manager. Thakur brings close to 15 years of industry-wide experience, supported by his academic background from IHM Kolkata and an MBA in Human Resources.

His career includes contributions to several well-established Indian and international hotel brands. At Cygnett, he will be responsible for strengthening training frameworks, building internal capabilities and supporting workforce development across hotels operated by the group.

Ravvinder Bhola Joins as General Manager – IT

In the technology vertical, Ravvinder Bhola has been appointed General Manager – Information Technology. With more than two decades of work in hospitality technology, Bhola has led IT operations and transformation initiatives for a number of major hotel chains.

His expertise covers system integration, infrastructure rollouts, information security, compliance and digital optimisation. He will spearhead the development of Cygnett’s technology ecosystem to support operational efficiency and guest-facing innovations.
