Courtyard by Marriott Mumbai Airport hosts Punjabi pop-up ‘Sweety Da Swad’ at MoMo Café

Chef Sweety Singh curates a limited-period Punjabi dining experience for city diners and travellers

Courtyard by Marriott Mumbai International Airport has introduced a regional culinary showcase at its all-day dining restaurant MoMo Café with ‘Sweety Da Swad’, a Punjabi pop-up curated by Chef Sweety Singh. Running from 20 February to 1 March 2026, the limited-time experience brings traditional Punjabi flavours to Mumbai’s airport district through a thoughtfully designed shared dining format.

A limited-time Punjabi showcase at MoMo Café

Known for its international buffet and popular brunches, MoMo Café has been reimagined for this pop-up to spotlight North Indian comfort cuisine rooted in home-style cooking. The promotion is available daily for dinner from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm, with special brunch editions on 22 February and 1 March between 1:00 pm and 4:00 pm.

Located in Andheri East along the Andheri–Kurla Road, the hotel aims to position itself as more than a transit stop, inviting both in-house guests and local diners to slow down and engage with a regionally immersive dining experience.

Punjabi flavours inspired by tradition

The menu draws inspiration from Punjabi households and roadside dhabas, beginning with appetisers such as Dilli 6 Aloo Tikki, Lasooni Bekti with sirka pyaaz, and Tandoori Bharwan Gucchi.

Main courses feature hearty preparations including Makhanwalla Kukkad, Dhaba Wala Palak Kofta, and Masala Khumbh, paired with Zaffrani Paratha. Classic Dal-e-Shahi is served alongside Truffle Cheese Kulcha, while Mango Panjiri concludes the meal on a nostalgic note.

A shared dining format

Rather than a conventional à la carte offering, Sweety Da Swad follows a family-style, shared dining format, encouraging guests to sample multiple dishes in a single sitting. This approach reflects the spirit of Punjabi hospitality and aligns with MoMo Café’s positioning as a social, family-friendly dining space suited for groups and relaxed gatherings.
