Country Inn Hotels & Resorts, the flagship brand of Espire Hospitality Limited, has expanded its presence in Uttarakhand with the opening of three new properties across Dehradun and Rishikesh. The development also marks the introduction of a new brand format, Country Inn Smart Stays, aimed at evolving traveller preferences.
With these additions, the brand strengthens its presence across key destinations in the state, complementing its existing portfolio in Mussoorie, Bhimtal, and Jim Corbett. The move reflects a strategy to balance growth across both urban centres and leisure-driven markets.
Strengthening Presence in Dehradun
The newly opened Country Inn, Dehradun is a 53-key property located on Saharanpur Road, benefiting from improved connectivity via the Delhi–Dehradun Expressway. Positioned to serve both corporate and leisure segments, the hotel offers a combination of accommodation, dining, and banqueting infrastructure.
Facilities include a multi-cuisine restaurant and dedicated event spaces such as a ballroom and meeting venues, catering to social gatherings and business functions. Its location enhances accessibility while aligning with the city’s growing role as a regional commercial hub.
Dual Format Expansion in Rishikesh
In Rishikesh, the brand has introduced two distinct formats to address varied traveller segments.
Country Inn, Rishikesh, located in Tapovan, features 28 rooms and offers proximity to key spiritual and tourism landmarks including Lakshman Jhula and Parmarth Niketan. The property includes dining facilities and event spaces designed to leverage the destination’s steady flow of leisure and spiritual tourism.
Alongside this, the company has launched Country Inn Smart Stays, Rishikesh, a new format within its portfolio. The 31-key hotel is positioned near Lakshman Jhula and targets younger and experience-driven travellers. It includes rooftop amenities, a café-led dining concept, and recreational spaces, reflecting a shift toward more contemporary hospitality offerings.

The introduction of Country Inn Smart Stays represents a strategic move to diversify the brand’s offering. The format is designed to cater to emerging travel patterns, particularly among younger guests seeking flexible, design-led, and experience-oriented stays.

The expansion aligns with the company’s long-term growth roadmap, which includes scaling its portfolio through consistent annual key additions. With over 30 hotels already signed and a target of reaching 45 operational properties by FY27, the group continues to accelerate its development pipeline across India.
