BWH Hotels Signs SureStay by Best Western in Kharar, Strengthening Presence in North India

BWH Hotels has announced the signing of a new SureStay by Best Western in Kharar, an emerging urban centre within the fast-growing Chandigarh Tricity region. Set to open in 2027, the hotel will enhance the group’s midscale-lite portfolio and support the rising hospitality demand driven by the area’s expanding residential, commercial and educational ecosystem.

A Smart, Value-Driven Hotel for Modern Travellers

The upcoming property is designed to offer a dependable and comfortable stay experience for business and leisure guests alike. Plans include:

  • Well-appointed guestrooms

  • An all-day dining restaurant complemented by a bar

  • Flexible meeting and banquet facilities

  • A modern fitness centre

With Kharar’s rapid development and increasing appeal among young professionals, families and students, the hotel aims to serve a diverse and growing customer base seeking quality accommodation at the right value.

Kharar’s Increasing Importance in the Hospitality Map

Known for its connectivity to Mohali and Chandigarh, Kharar has evolved into a high-potential micro-market. BWH Hotels considers the region strategic due to ongoing infrastructural upgrades, rising residential clusters, and the steady increase in business and institutional activity.

Atul Jain, COO of BWH Hotels South Asia, emphasised the area’s momentum, noting that Kharar’s strong links to the Tricity make it a natural choice for hospitality expansion. The new hotel, he added, will offer reliable, contemporary stays tailored to the needs of today’s travellers.

A Partnership Focused on Growth and Community Impact

Hotel owner Hiteish Arora expressed enthusiasm for partnering with BWH Hotels, highlighting the shared vision of contributing to Kharar’s development. The project aims to deliver a hotel that guests can rely on for quality, convenience and value—strengthening the destination’s appeal for both residents and visitors.

Expanding BWH Hotels’ Footprint in North India

The signing aligns with BWH Hotels’ broader strategy of tapping into emerging markets across North India. By entering high-potential destinations like Kharar, the group aims to expand its reach and meet the shifting preferences of travellers seeking dependable midscale offerings.

Once completed, SureStay by Best Western Kharar is expected to become a trusted choice for guests exploring the Chandigarh Tricity region, adding momentum to BWH Hotels’ growth journey.
