A leadership appointment has been announced at Roswyn, A Morgans Originals Hotel, as the lifestyle property prepares for its debut in Mumbai, Maharashtra. The luxury lifestyle hotel has named Annam Lubana as Hotel Manager, bringing operational leadership experience from prominent luxury hospitality brands in India as the property moves toward its launch phase.

The appointment comes at a strategic moment for Roswyn, part of the Morgans Originals collection under Ennismore, as the brand prepares to introduce its design-driven lifestyle hospitality concept to India’s commercial capital. Strengthening the leadership team ahead of opening is seen as central to establishing the property’s operational identity and service culture.


Career Foundation

The professional journey of Annam Lubana began with early exposure to structured luxury hospitality training programmes that emphasised operational discipline and service precision. Her formative years in the industry were shaped through roles that required close interaction with guest services teams, helping her develop an operational perspective grounded in frontline hospitality delivery.

Through these early assignments, Lubana gained an understanding of how service design, team coordination, and operational systems intersect within large luxury hotels. Exposure to high-volume guest environments and complex service frameworks allowed her to build a leadership approach focused on clarity, accountability, and consistent guest engagement.

Over time, her career evolved toward operational leadership roles, where responsibilities expanded beyond guest services to include departmental oversight, performance management, and team development across multiple operational units.


Most Recent Role and Key Achievements

Before joining Roswyn, Annam Lubana held leadership responsibilities within Marriott International, where she contributed to operations management at luxury properties in India. Her tenure included senior operational roles at JW Marriott Goa and JW Marriott Pune, two hotels known for managing high guest volumes and complex service environments.

While working in Goa, Lubana was responsible for overseeing operational functions and coordinating teams responsible for delivering guest services across multiple departments. In Pune, she managed room operations and contributed to performance optimisation initiatives within the hotel’s operational framework.

Her leadership contributions were recognised by the hospitality group in 2023, when she received the Operations Leader of the Year recognition. The award reflected her role in strengthening operational processes while managing large teams within luxury hotel environments.

Education and Professional Competencies

Annam Lubana is an alumnus of the Oberoi Centre of Learning and Development and the Institute of Hotel Management, Mumbai, two institutions known for producing hospitality professionals with strong operational grounding.

During her early training period, Lubana was awarded the T.R. Oberoi Gold Medal for academic excellence, recognising her performance as a Guest Services Management Associate. Her academic background provided a structured understanding of hospitality operations, service design, and leadership accountability.

In her new position as Hotel Manager at Roswyn, A Morgans Originals Hotel, Annam Lubana will oversee hotel operations, service delivery systems, and leadership development initiatives as the property prepares for launch in Mumbai. Her responsibilities will include building operational teams, shaping the hotel’s service culture, and developing guest experiences aligned with the lifestyle positioning of the Morgans Originals brand.

The role also involves guiding operational frameworks that support commercial strategy and guest engagement, ensuring that the hotel establishes a clear identity within Mumbai’s competitive luxury hospitality landscape.
