His early exposure to operational environments at organisations such as The Lalit Great Eastern Kolkata and the AMRI Group of Hospitals helped shape his understanding of workforce management across diverse service industries.

His transition into hospitality-focused roles allowed him to refine skills in talent acquisition, compliance, payroll planning, and HR audits. Working across varied organisational structures, he developed a systematic approach to aligning employee experience with operational priorities.


Most Recent Role and Key Achievements

Prior to joining Hilton Bangalore Embassy GolfLinks, Ankit Datta was associated with Marriott International, most recently serving as Human Resources Manager at Renaissance Race Course Hotel Bengaluru. In this role, he was responsible for managing HR operations in a high-performance hotel environment, ensuring compliance, driving engagement initiatives, and supporting workforce planning.

He also held the position of Assistant Human Resources Manager – HOD at Fairfield by Marriott Whitefield Bengaluru, where he contributed to strengthening HR processes and enhancing team performance. His contributions across roles have included improving employee engagement frameworks, supporting leadership development initiatives, and managing complex HR operations in multi-department hotel settings.

His work has been recognised through internal accolades, including “Culture Champion” of the Year 2024 at Renaissance Hotel Bengaluru, reflecting his focus on building inclusive workplace environments.
